Founded by two professionals who believe Milwaukee deserves better portable sanitation.
David Kowalski
David Kowalski was raised in Milwaukee's tight-knit Polish community on the South Side, where his family ran a small plumbing supply shop on Lincoln Avenue for three decades. After earning his business degree from UW-Milwaukee, David spent years coordinating logistics for large-scale events at Henry Maier Festival Park, including Summerfest setup and teardown operations. That experience revealed how difficult it was to find dependable portable sanitation providers in the Milwaukee metro area. In 2019, he launched Pinnacle with a mission to bring top-tier service to every neighborhood from the Third Ward to West Allis. When he's not managing operations, David cheers on the Brewers at American Family Field and volunteers with neighborhood cleanup efforts along the Menomonee River.
Sarah Chen
Sarah Chen moved to Milwaukee after completing her MBA at Marquette University and quickly fell in love with the city's blend of Midwestern warmth and lakefront energy. Before joining Pinnacle, she spent over a decade in operations management for hospitality and catering companies serving events along the Milwaukee lakefront, at the Wisconsin Center, and throughout the surrounding suburbs. Sarah's deep understanding of Wisconsin's seasonal challenges—from frigid January winds off Lake Michigan to the humid festival season each summer—ensures Pinnacle's fleet and crews are prepared for anything. She is an active board member of a Bay View community development organization and enjoys kayaking on the Milwaukee River.
